Actually rattlesnakelover the most venomous is the Mojovi rattler, The eastern diamondback is the most dangerous due to its size and the amount of venom it produces. The coral snake however is among the top 3 most poisonous snakes in the US. but is not very aggressive and the amount of venom it produces is small however it does have a toxic bite inabling most any thing it sinks its fangs into. The LD 50 sheet on this website may help you out on the toxisity and yields of North American snakes.
