There has never been anyone who has done so much for the reptile communty as Steve Irwin. He has been a hero for a whole new generation of herpers. He was always so gentle with every animal he crossed paths with. A very great man who will be sorely missed.

Steve Irwin has gone to meet his Maker. He fulfilled his job & responsibilities. He had showed us the way how it should be done. It's time we did the same before our appointment with The Maker.

It was a ritual at our houshold to watch the crocodile hunter on animal planet. It was a family bonding moment for my four children, my wife and myself. We will miss him dearly!

A pioneer, plain and simple. Entertaining and educational, his programs were ALWAYS the best thing on tv! My daughter loves you and I love you. You will be missed by many, but your legacy will live on! Rest in peace, Steve.

steve irwin was a great man who once said no matter what happens keep the cameras rolling so even in disaster ppl can learn from my mistakes. he inspired my life in many ways he was the reason i spread from venomous and large reptiles to other aspects of zoology ex large cats small primates etc i now am doing educational demostrations and teaching as many ppl as i can about the wildlife of our planet and everyone that i educate owes it to steve he was honestly the greatest man i ever met his energy and enthusiasm for what he did on camera was intense but in person it was ten fold . on that note so i dont wramble a book on here my heart goes out to bindy bob and terri and i will do my best to honor what a great man he was by passing the knowledge that he gave me onto as many others as i can we'll miss you steve

WOW...so much said! i have not really watched the show alot because i didnt care for the way that steve handled the hots on national tv,but you know what,i loved the way that he got the message out there about the animals that we all love.to terri, bindi, and bob your father was one of the best things to happen to the reptile world. we hope that you two children know that your father will be missed and we are sure that you will carry on his great work and not let your fathers leagacy fall into the dust like so many before him.

i love steve irwin...he is a dedicated wildlife conservationist and i thank GOD coz once in our lives,we were able to get to know a man so dedicated to this planet,he even risked his life just to educate us...
wen i heard that he died,it was like my world stopped turning...but i have to accept the truth that he is gone..but, his achievement and hardworks will be a living proof that once on our planet's life, there lived a man so dedicated to conserve the animal kingdom...
