If it's the picture of the guy holding the babies in his bare hands.........I say he's nuts. Not worth the risk. If I were in the market for Kings (which Im not) I'd be afraid to send him money out of fear that I'll send money, and then he'll die before he's able to send me my snake.
I have no sympathy for someone who gets bit for doing that, if you dance with the devil, be prepared for the music.

Well...
I don't know what Mitch was thinking allowing that picture to go up but it sends the wrong message.
If breeder/dealers would like this hobby to remain legal they can't be putting up ad's promoting reckless behavior. The clock is ticking and WE are running out of time.

This guy must have a death wish. Its pics and promotions like this that make those of us that actualy have the sence to handle with safty in mind look like idiots. Black eyes run rampid huu?. You would think that a person with some sence would know that handling 10 baby King Cobras with your bare hands is like comiting suacide. Somtimes I wonder if these keepers that persist on freehanding know that evrytime they do it could very well take our rights as keepers away even faster. Of what ive seen from some of these thrill-seekers, I think they could care less if we lose our keeping rights......Just my opinion.....Happy herping Wally, be safe ya'll

What really pisses me off is the fact that d@uchebag (sorry Karl) Jeff B. allows people to post pics like that. I guess if you pay the lousy $54 a year you can do what you want, no matter how damaging it may be.
I wonder if ks will still have a classified's section for venomous after they are all banned. It seems like legalities and ethics are not part of Jeff's vocab, so it probably won't matter.

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen.
I suggest you write an email (IN PLEASANT TONE AND LANGUAGE) and explain what you think is wrong with the message portrayed by that ad. Take action.
However, remember that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Cursing and attacking will only get you banned from kingsnake and will not remove the ad.
Try taking the point of view that people new to the hobby with no background at all might get the idea that these particular KING COBRAS are calm and safe to freehandle which could result in the death of people believing in what is portrayed in the ad.
Remember, BE POLITE.

Hello All,
I as well was shocked to see the said pic.
Before jumping to conclusions take in consideration that he said he was expecting these to be delivered in to his facility soon; so I don't think that is his hand.With that said I still question why he allowed the pic to be posted. I think the best thing we can do is take Karl's advice and voice our concern politely and professionally.

I've written to Jeff and Ginger on numerous occasions about what is viewed on their classified's and what would be considered legal practices, all to no avail.
Money talks over someone with a voice or opinion. People paying money will always take precedence over anything else when it comes to ks, afterall, it is a business. Maybe others will have better luck than I did. And as a side note, I was always polite and professional when I did write to them.
