Great looking Canebrake Jason!
Sure hope you are cruising / field collecting the area it was found to try to find its siblings, and / or parents. If you need someone to help you hunt for them, just let me know, LOL !
Look forward to see it grow up and hopefully started in a breeding program to keep the line going.
Put me on the waiting list to purchase some of its f1 offspring a few years from now, LOL ?
You ask on your website about a name for the little fellow. Well, its almost October, and the snake has some great fall colors. How `bout calling it Hobgoblin?

Jason,
Once again, you are soooooo lucky. The snake is just gorgeous. I really am jealous. But hey, maybe in 5 years or so, there will be some available and I will have my own. Until then, you the man!

Very, Very Beautiful Young One and looks to be in Tip Top Shape. When you have a chance to, get it Sexed and let us know if its Male or Female. If it is a Female, it would make a wonderful Brood Snake. Just imagine the Babies that you would get from Breeding that Snake with another Albino “would make the Head Spin, for sure”. I only wish I could get Lucky enough to find an Agkistrodon piscivorous with such an unusual Wild Morph “maybe one Day “.
Again, congratulations on such a Beautiful find, hope it lives a Long Healthy Life.
Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

Jason, is the Canebrake in the photo with the Amelanistic from the same local? Or is it just in the pic for contrast? Have you been back to cruise since the capture of the Amel?

The normal canebrake in the pic is from 2 counties away from where the albino was found. I haen't gotten a chance to go back to the area where the snake was located yet but will this afternoon. Maybe I'll get lucky again!
