oh, and thax john, i really enjoy getting on here and from my first two days with this membership, ive learned a lot. You answered my first question and, i feel that you are the one that i need to go to when i need help...not that anybody else doesnt know as much as you, i just havnt found them yet!!!

There are tons of great folks here from all over the US and World who can help you with your herp questions. This is really the best herp site there is on the internet.
I just happen to be around the computer this weekend and not out herping.
Still wound up with a new big Copperhead that a good friend caught for me, LOL !

i only deal with SMALL gators, i have tried to stuff a 3' one in there b/c it was the only thing that i had and the people told me that it was about 1' which is odd because they normaly exagerate (sp?) one of those "you had to be there" moments

Just remember: hots have no trouble tagging you through the bag (personal experience). In the field I use Midwest snake bagger for the capture (bagging) and then they (in the bag) immediately go into a collapsible soft-sided cooler for added bite protection.
