when you made that thread about the best reptile zoos in usa, the one was allenwood pa... well, i did some research, and i found out that that place is no farther than 1 hour away from where i live... I talked to my parents, and they said we might beable to go there...but, the pricess were kinda confusing, so, since you said youve been there, can you explain it other than the website did?

Looks like Clyde Peeling`s Reptile land will cost you $10.00 a person to attend. But you might look for discount coupons in your local news paper and in the center coupon section of your yellow pages phone book. Sometimes places like that offer coupon discounts.
What Chad said about the big reptile show coming up in October at Hamburg, PA is something you really should try to attend. I do not think it would be too far from you, if you live in central PA, and would really be worth planning a trip to. You and your family would really like seeing something like that, and you have almost a month to plan for that Saturday. I might even try to attend it this year if I am not too busy with work.
Best Regards JohnZ

alright, ill look that one up too. Thanks fot the prices, are they on the site?
Anyway, chad, if you are trying to say that just because i live up north, doesnt mean i like the baseball team yankees...or if you are refering to were yankees because of up north, i dont anything to say about that but when i go down south to see my cousins...they have a terrible virginian accent...and, if you think we say "you ins" only the older people say like my grandmother... at least "yall" means " you all" and it makes much more sense than you ins...
AND...,. you should put a picture of yourself on a site so if you do go to the reptile show and i also go, i might beable to reconise you...

The Penn. reptile show is listed on this site below in upcoming shows. If you click on the link, it will take you to :
http://pythons.com/hamburg/
That will give you directions on how to get there.
I have heard that this is a really super reptile show to attend. It only costs $7.00 per person and you will see thousands of reptiles and amphibians. And you just might meet a few members of this site there.
As far as the north / south herpers thing, we southerneres always have fun making fun of northerners, and the northerners have fun making fun of us southerners. It is all in good fun, LOL !
Best Regards JohnZ

honestly, I like pennsylvania.
The burn my boots thing is a quote from Yosemite Sam in the bugs bunny cartoons. Every time he crossed the mason dixon line in the cartoon he acted like it hurt his feet and had to come back across and burn his boots. lol.
I doubt I'll make hamburg this year. As far as pics of me on my site, there is a couple...

Why the varmints went and banned it!!!!
from wikipedia:
Southern Fried Rabbit is a Looney Tunes cartoon by Warner Brothers and was directed by Friz Freleng. The film was first released on May 2, 1953. A newspaper date however places the events on September 2, 1952. It is currently not in American circulation due to some racial issues raised in the film.
This film features Bugs Bunny attempting to flee to Alabama to escape a carrot famine. His attempt to cross the Mason-Dixon line is stopped by Yosemite Sam, a zealous soldier of the Confederate States of America.
Sam was reportedly ordered by General Robert E. Lee to guard the borders between the Confederate States and the United States during the American Civil War (1861 - 1865). He is oblivious to the fact that the war ended "almost ninety years ago" and continues to await newer orders from General Lee. He refuses to allow any Yankee to cross the line. Sam remains unaged and vital despite being on guard from the 1860s to the 1950s, having achieved apparent immortality. Being Sam, this is likely from sheer stubbourness.
Bugs finds himself fighting to cross the line. He disguises himself as Jim Crow, Uncle Tom, Abraham Lincoln, Stonewall Jackson and Scarlett O'Hara to little effect. He at last succeeds in removing Sam from his guarding post after informing him that "the Yankees are in Chattanooga", Tennessee. Sam marches to Chattanooga. The finale has Sam using a rifle to threaten the New York Yankees, preventing them from competing against the Chattanooga Lookouts. Bugs is assumed to have successfully crossed the line by that time.
Bugs being disguised as a stereotyped African American has been the reason of this short accused of racism. However one should note that the stereotypes were the subjects of parody rather than being reinforced.

no, they dont, during the day though, tom and Jerry is on. I usually watch that when im sick and cant go to school. Its not very popular, but somehow, it's still on tv!!!
So, anyway, I dont think i will beable to make it to the hamburg reptile show this year...I just started looking into this stuff in the ending of last year, So my parents dont really like me all of the sudden asking them can we go to this reptile place and can we go there...
And, hamburg is near Philli and its about a two hour drive to get there, (see, this is the disadvantage i have since im young and cant drive) and they dont like the idea of driving two ours for a reptile show...
But, someday this year, we're going to that clyde peelings reptile land in allenwood.
And, How often is the reptile show at hamburg?
