And as far as the topic changing, Nathan, they allways do that. Sometimes a thread will change so many times that nobody can remember how or why it was started, LOL ! That is part of the fun of this site, that we can have fun.
Think about when you talk with your friends at school, you will start talking on one subject and that will change to something else, and that will change again. You start talking about a nintendo game and end up talking about skate boards.
It is called morphing or evolving or freedom of expression. Nothing wrong with it.

i know, i happens a lot. But, i was trying to make a point to that guy that subjects do change, and half the people that are here wouldnt be here if this were a VENOMOUS ONLY site and they deleted every thread that didnt have that topic. I mean, herping is fun, not some long boring science lecture.

I don`t think that Marty was suggesting that the sight be changed to venomous only, and I really dont think that he was bitching. He has been posting here a long time and really likes the site like we all do. He was just pointing out the fact that there are a lot of non-venomous adds, which is interesting, and if folks don`t like them, they can easily read past. I also often skip the non-venomous adds.

Just to add my .02, I'd rather see non-hots and misc. in the classified's than see yahoo's selling venomoids.
From what I see, people that frequent this forum, and have for the last 8 years I've been coming here, seem to keep both quite extensively, unlike the butchered up moneymakers some are selling. I'd say selling venomoids here is more of a contradiction than anything else.

Asking for an explanation of conditions is neither "bitching" nor "complaining" by any definition and is perfectly reasonable in this context.
By the terms of agreement for our classifieds, nonvenomous ads are welcomed as they are herp related.
Additionally, nonvenomous threads are welcomed as they are also herp related and serve as a way for us to educate the public about reptiles in general.
However, baiting and condescending behavior is rude in any case and does nothing to foster a helpful atmosphere for new and younger people to learn.
Neither does name calling and "SHOUTING".
Several responses in this thread have been removed as they are inappropriate (as described above) and the people who notice that their posts are missing can email me if they have questions.
