I am in Central Texas, and have several breeding age pairs of rattlers. I would like to converse with someone experienced in their breeding willing to share info. Thanks Harlan

Hello Harlan My name is Zach I breed several defferent species of rattlesnakes and other pitvipers. Weastern Diamondbacks are easy to breed, while some other species require a bit more time and effort. Breeding rattlesnakes is important today with the loss of habitat that seems to be taking its toll on certain animals in snake country. In the future many species of animals may only be found in captive conditions thanks to breeders. It is a way to perserve some of American history. Who knows perhaps a captive colony will be the key in restoration of a wild population somewhere.
